Joy has provided this support for years mostly for no charge. She is a very senior experienced person and is happy to provide support. The Braggers Hotline (an e-mail group) is the most notable, it is used by wide ranging persons in the Early Childhood Industry.
Business Mentoring
This is where we are called in as Consultants, to help identify problem areas and to map out the way forward. Centres at times are in crisis, often a number of things are going wrong, they are threatened with closure unless they can demonstrate their new direction.
Staff are key players in centres, they need ongoing Professional Development. They need to work as a team lead by a well informed Director. It is more sensible to send as many staff as possible to the same professional development session. This ensures a successful take up of new knowledge along with team building of the staff.
Follow up visits help re-enforce the new direction and further planning of the future. This greatly assists centres back to the satisfaction of all concerned.
